Problems that could be causing your water bill to go up.

Plumbing is a large part of a functional home and when there is a drastic change in your water bill, you want to know why. We don’t want you paying more than you have to. Here are some problems that could cause your water bill to run high.
A running toilet is a minor inconvenience causing your bill to run higher. After flushing, if your toilet keeps running you can waste many gallons of water. The issue for this can range from a worn flapper, faulty fill valve, and an improperly adjusted float. There are many tests that can be used to make sure this does not happen.
A hidden leak under the sink, is small, but is there. Small drips from the supply lines can be minor and hidden. Keeping an eye out for damp cabinets, water stains, and musty smells can lead to the major problems over time.
Water heater leaks can slowly leak and you would never notice. There are many places it can leak from including the tank itself, pressure relief, and drain valve. Catching this early will prevent high water bills and even more damage.
Worn-out faucets are meaning that there is dripping coming from the faucet. This is minor, but wastes a large amount of water faster then you may think. Keep an eye on your kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room sink incase it is time for a repair.
